The worst feeling isn't being lonely. It's being forgotten by someone you would never forget
Every time I experience something special, I think about that I want to tell you about it.
A year ago, I actually spoke with you every now and then and I told you about what have happened
since the last time we met. Every time something special happens, I always think about that I would
like to call you and share my thoughts with you. I know that school takes a lot of time,
but I don't even hear from you on the holidays.
It doesn't matter if it was such a long time since we met, I still miss you.
One time I read
"-Missing someone isn't about how long it has been since you've seen them or the amount
of time since you've talked. It's about that very moment when you find yourself
doing something and wishing they were right there by your side"
And every word of it is true.
Hey, I heard you were a wild one...
Yesterday was
the second day of the
second week of the
second month of the
second year of the
second decade of the
second millennium.
Isn't that pretty fascinating?
(I know it is the third millennium, but it was fascinating a thousand years ago)
I guess this is the end of my successful life as a blogger, but thank you for reading my blog this week.
I think I will give back the first place as Sweden's most famuos blogger to Kenza now.
She deserves it more than I do.
But who knows, I might update my blog sometimes, so stay tuned! If not,
Have a nice life!
(What would a blog be without a big fat picture of me?)

Language courses part two: Jersey
Last summer was I on another language course. This time I choosed Jersey.
Jersey is one of the Channel Islands in the English channel.
Jersey is the largest island and is located not far from the French coast.
We flew from Arlanda to Charles de Gaulle in Paris with a short break in Germany where we changed plane. In Paris, we saw the Eiffel tower and had a boat tour on the Seine. One of the days we spent on Disneyland.
The Eiffel tower
After two days in Paris we went by bus and ferry to Jersey.
At the boat terminal on Jersey, my host dad John stood with a paper with four names on. My name was one of them. The other three girls were already there when I came, so we just put our bags in the car and got our lunch from John. He promised to pick us up later so we could spend some time with our group. My rommates names were Ida, Malin and Camilla and they were all from Norway. I didn't like them at first, they seemed impersonal and boring. We were not in the same group. My swedish leader's name was Claudia, the danish Patrick and the finnish Johanna. After a couple of hours with Claudia and the others, our host family came and picked us up. John and Dawn were retired and lived in an old cowshed that they had renovated and rebuilt as a residential building.
The house
Me and the other girls had a big apricot-coloured room with our own bathroom. After a couple of hours trying to get to know the norwegian girls they turned out to be really funny and we laught a lot.
I can't say that the school was good at this language course. It was not rewarding and I didn't learn so much new. But I think I learned when I spoke with the finnish girls and my host family.
Jersey
So what activities did we have? We went kayaking, Banana boating, and played LaserQuasar. One day we took a boat to another of the Channel Islands: Sark. People said there were no cars on Sark, only two tractors (but I think they lied). The island was very beautiful and the weather was perfect. The only bad thing with that day was the boat trip. I will never forget it, I have never felt so sick in my entire life.
Sark
It was hard saying goodbye to all my new friends and I tried not to cry when I said thank you to Dawn and John. They were so adorable and I really enjoyed staying with them in their cozy stone house.
If you ever happen to end up at Jersey, call Dawn and ask for her Shepherds pie. You won't regret it, I promise!

Enjoy the moment, for this moment is your life
I have been thinking about things that I want to do before I die.
You only have one life to do the best of, so don't waste your time being too afraid to fail.
Just live your dreams to a 100 percent, and when you are old and retired,
look back at your life and be happy about all the fun things you did!
My Bucket list
• Make a parachute jump
• Make a diffrence in somebodys life
• Sit on a beach, watching the sunrise
• Get a job I enjoy
• Help someone poor
• Get married

• Experience christmas in New York
• Live in London
• Feel really awesome

And a lot of other things
It's cold around me, the night is young. The sun has fallen, and I've become the lonely one
I love the winter when the sun is shining and makes the snow sparkle

Language courses part one: Isle of Wight
I have been on two language courses and I thought that I might share my experiences with you,
in case you are thinking about travelling abroad yourselves.
It was around christmas 2009 when I booked my language trip with Student Travel Schools to Isle of Wight.
But it wasn't until July 2010 the trip actually started.
I was really nervous the day before when I packed my clothes, shoes, towels and all other stuff I would need for my three weeks in England. All I knew about my host family was the name on one family member: Samantha. I didn't know if she was young or old, lived by herself or had a family, had pets or not. But the most scary part was the fact that I didn't know anyone.
When I came to Arlanda and met all the wonderful people there, it felt better. It wasn't difficult to get new friends, because there were other people who had travelled without knowing anyone.
After hours of travelling by airplane, bus and boat, we finally arrived to the beautiful island Isle of Wight.
All host familys came and picked up their students.

During my trip to England I lived with Samantha and her family. She was around 30 and had a husband named Andrew and three children between four and ten. My roommates were all from Stockholm and their names was Isabella, Linn and Matilda.
Host family's house
We were about 20 people in my group: 12 from Sweden and 8 from Denmark. My leaders were Lina from Sweden and Mette from Denmark. Lina was the activity leader and Mette was a teacher. We also had a local teacher named Joanna.
Isabella, Linn, Matilda and me
When we didn't have school, we had activities. We had Head Hunting (Almost like Laser dome, but in the forest), Photo quizes, Discos in Newport, Isle of Wight roundtrip, and we also took boats three times to diffrent places on Englands mainland: Portsmouth, Bournemouth and Southampton.
Head Hunting team
The last two days were we in London, and we saw the most common tourist attractions and lived in a typical english hostel.
Big Ben and Houses of Parlament
So what did I think about this language trip?
I think it was fun and I really learned how to take care of myself. I think I improved my english skills a little bit, and it was a great experience. The leaders were great and I tought I had the best host family I could ever get. Of course there were some negative things too, like there were a lot of extra expenditure than STS had told us before the departure. That was bad, because we had to pay for things we already thought we had payed for. But over all, I don't regret that journey I did. I grew so much in myself and met really nice people.
